If your initiative/program serves people under community corrections supervision, how does your organization work in partnership or work in collaboration with participants’ probation or parole officers?
We will be seeking help from our Mayor: Mr. Greg Ballard, who has put the re-entry programs into effect. I will be inquiring, and initiating a meeting on the preceedings, for the future of Reflections. I will be seeking grant money for our non-profit organization, and we will share the building with Suzy Q Cleaning Service, which will be used to hire many of our clients, who are intersted in our employment services

Data Collection

Does your organization collect demographic data on participants?
No
Does your organization collect data about the process of your initiative/program?
Yes
If "yes", what kind of data? And what results has this data yielded?
We have surveyed many people, institutions, and half-way houses, and have acquanited ourselves with the training of the First Day out program, and we found there are limitations to their client, and what they have to offer, and they have no interest in their well being, but we are the opposite, because there is a need for support, in every element of their lives, families, communities, and as a people of a nation, we are responsible for all Americans, as one body.
Does your organization measure and/or track the outcome of participation?
Yes
If "yes", what kind of data? And what results has this data yielded?
We will keep track of all our clients progress, and there will be an assestments on a monthly basis. After each month we will acess our progress, and theirs. We will evaluate our clients interest, and options, but most of all employment, counseling, and permenate housing will be available, before one is entered back into soceity. Also, we will continue our services for a year, or when both the client and counselor feel that growth has occurred, and their finances are in order, because many crimes are committed under stresses of finacial issues, and we want to prevent this from happening, with support, and gainful employment, or school.

Activities

What, if any, activities does your initiative/program include for people while they are incarcerated and how do these activities differ from those offered to the general population?
Our plans is contact the prisons, parole officers, and other facilities, and initiate our services, and our organization commitment to our families, communities, and to help put an end to the revolving door. We will be seeking finacial backing, but we will commit ourselves to this program, and to our families, and communities. The houses will be a place they can call home.
What activities does your organization engage in post-release and how do these activities differ from those offered to the general population?
We will be in constant contact with the correctional facilities, on how we can assist the individual, on early releasing to our program, or to come home earlier than projected by the state, or judge. We will advocate for the person release into our custody, and the client will be under constant care of their case managers, and their parole officer will be able to visit our houses, and participate in their program accessment. However, if we are convicned the person isn't right for our program. We will be seeking other alternatives, other than imprisonment.
How are people placed into your program?
Referral Initiate by counselor, individual, prison, family, other
