We are a nonprofit, 501C-3 vocational carpentry teaching organization that is newly formed and our mission is to bring these teaching programs to county jail and state prison inmates throughout the United States.

    What, if any, activities does your initiative/program include for people while they are incarcerated and how do these activities differ from those offered to the general population?
    While the inmates are incarcerated, they can be taught vocational carpentry trade basics, so when they are released they can pursue employment and further their trade by on-the-job-training and additional schooling and self-study. View our website at www.thecarpentesfriend.com
